Security+ is a SaaS Solution that can be an essential component of every department’s overall security strategy.

It can address specific security related challenges, like automating Personnel Security Clearance operations or enable tracking relevant security activities. It easily satisfies an organization’s digital strategy to deliver online public-facing security clearance services as well as enable the end-to-end management of personnel security screening.

In designing Security+, Eperformance ensured that it generally understood and implemented Government of Canada and the Treasury Board's security requirements. Through interviews with experts (current and former government security staff) and reviews of available literature, Eperformance was able to create a baseline application that can be adjusted to fit individual departmental needs.

The baseline application includes Reliability, Enhanced Reliability, Secret and Top Secret applications. The system can be further configured to include other forms of screening like site access or specific departmental screening levels.

The baseline application utilizes Azure B2C (now called Microsoft Entra ID) to authenticate users.

Yes, each login requires an email one time code provided to be verified for a successful login.

Yes, Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) compliance is achieved in Security+ system through the use of Government of Canada’s Web Experience Toolkit (WET) that conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) AA and leverages both HTML5 and Accessible Rich Internet Applications (WAI-ARIA) to further enhance accessibility.

The system is supported by all modern browsers on the Windows and Mac operating systems. This includes Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Apple Safari. The solutions portal also automatically reacts to the resolution of the device that it is being displayed on. When displayed on small factor form screens such as mobile phones or tablets (both Apple and Android) the configured pages will display in a 'mobile' format that maximizes the limited space while maintaining all functionality.
